视觉之外的艺术——讨厌的楼房

记得三年前，我们学校旁还没有什么高楼。每天一大早起来，我们盲校的孩子就来到屋顶晒太阳，温暖的阳光晒在身上，我们感到十分的惬意和幸福。但是后来，我们学校旁边立起了一座高楼。对于盲人来说，我们的手指相当于眼睛，认识新的东西和读盲文都需要用手指触摸。拉萨的冬天很长，整个冬天，学校院子的阳光被这座高楼挡住了，我们的手指被冻得麻木，根本无法去触摸东西和盲文。也许你们都享受高楼带来的便利，但是我们讨厌它。

An annoying building

Three years ago, there were no tall buildings around our school. Every morning, students in our school (for the Blind) went to the roof to enjoy sunbathing. The warm sun fell on our bodies and we felt so contented and happy. But later, this tall building was built next to our school. For a blind person, our hands are our eyes; we use our hands to get to know new things and read Braille. The winter in Lhasa is very long, and with the sun blocked by this tall building the whole winter, our hands were frozen numb. We can’t touch anything or read Braille. Maybe you enjoy the convenience of tall buildings, but we don’t like them! [Photo by Kyila]
