中国精神——右玉精神

2020年5月12日，习近平总书记在山西考察期间强调：“要牢固树立绿水青山就是金山银山的理念，发扬‘右玉精神’”。总书记还曾批示过：右玉精神体现的是全心全意为人民服务，是迎难而上，艰苦奋斗，是久久为功，利在长远。
On May 12， 2020， General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed during an inspection tour in north China＇s Shanxi Province that China will uphold the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets， and we should carry forward the Youyu spirit． General Secretary once instructed that Youyu spirit embodies serving the people wholeheartedly， working hard to rise to challenges， and making unremitting efforts for long－term benefit．
“一棵接着一棵栽，一任连着一任干”。正是右玉“飞鸽牌”的干部一代接一代做着“永久牌”的事情，70年来，山西右玉县把当地林木覆盖率从解放初期的0．3％提升至55％，县委带领人民把“不毛之地”变成“塞上绿洲”，孕育了以“执政为民、尊重科学、百折不挠、艰苦奋斗”为核心的右玉精神，创造了人类生态史上的奇迹，提供了生态文明建设的生动样本。
Leading officials in Youyu insist on tree planting． Cadres change from generation to generation， while afforestation remains a permanent cause． Over the past 70 years， the forest coverage rate of Youyu County in Shanxi Province has increased from 0．3％ in the early days of liberation to 55％ today． The Youyu County Party Committee leads the people in turning a wasteland into an oasis， giving birth to Youyu spirit with exercising power in the interests of the people， respect of science， perseverance and resilience， and arduous struggle at its core． It is a miracle in human ecological history and a vivid example of developing ecological civilization．
要干出一番“永久牌”事业，绝非一朝一夕之功，需要滴水穿石的坚持、聚沙成塔的积累，更需要久久为功的接力，一张蓝图干到底，撸起袖子加油干，共同参与、合力践行，不惧辛劳、脚踏实地、任劳任怨，增强工作的落实力和执行力，在工作收获中不断体现人生价值。
A permanent cause cannot be achieved overnight． As a stone is worn when water constantly drips， and a tower is built when soil on earth accumulates， it requires perseverance and accumulation as well as unremitting efforts to stick to a single blueprint until the end and roll up our sleeves and work with added energy． With joint efforts， down－to－earth attitude and hard work， we can better implement and execute work， and realize the value of life in work．
“换领导不换蓝图，换班子不换干劲。”右玉精神，就是穿越时空、历久弥新的时代精神，就是全心全意为人民服务的生动体现！绿水青山就是金山银山，切实推动绿色发展，携手建设美丽中国，描绘出生态文明新画卷，不断开创人与自然和谐相处的新境界。
Successive leadership teams stick to the same blueprint with enthusiasm for work． Teeming with new life though time passes， Youyu spirit is the spirit of the times embodying serving the people wholeheartedly！ Green mountains are also gold mountains． We will promote green development to build a beautiful China and ecological civilization together， so as to achieve harmony between humans and nature．
